konichiwa. we arrived safely to japan and are experiencing the crazy world of tokyo anime, sushi, pagodas and fashion. even the pets here have banging style... mini denim skirts and pink sanrio panchos are the latest craze! the people here are so accommodating... and tiny! and since we've learned a total of 3 phrases, we bow- to everyone for everything. scotty's friend wes has been our own personal tour guide and has taught us a lot about the shinto religion- and has warned us about the god who takes your anus if you don't bow to him on the streets. please pray for us.
we're headed to kyoto tomorrow on an overnight bus to experience old japan and sip tea with geishas and sumos.

oh my god i'm so jealous. i just had a dream that i was back in japan and i bought new hello kitty flip flops and now i'm sad that i don't have them in real life. are you going to stay in tokyo at all? i have friends if you need them. i'm so jealous!!!!! have fun!!!! email me if you want!!!!!!!

Oh my, girls. It sounds like you are definitely in for some adventures - I hope you show that God some respect - your trip could be pretty crappy if you don't. And I am having trouble envisioning you sipping tea with sumos... but I truly hope you're able to swing that and provide me with a photo for my ugly album.

So I know your not in Thailand yet but, Sawadikap! I don't know how to say hello in Chinease so thai will have to do!
